TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. INTERPRETATION AND VARIATION
1.1 In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
“RestoreU” refers to the sole trader, Sonia Norman, trading as RestoreU.
“Client” means any person who has booked or attended any yoga class, sound bath, holistic therapy session, workshop, event, or retreat offered by RestoreU.
“Services” means yoga classes, sound bath events, holistic therapies, workshops, programs, retreats, and any associated activities delivered by RestoreU.
“Terms and Conditions” refers to the terms set out herein.
“Website” means www.restoreu.co.uk or affiliated platforms used for bookings or communication.
1.2 These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and attendance at any service provided by RestoreU.
1.3 RestoreU reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on the Website and will be binding from the date of publication.
1.4 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
2. BOOKINGS AND CLIENT CONDUCT
2.1 By booking any service, the client agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
2.2 RestoreU reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings at its sole discretion.
2.3 RestoreU reserves the right to refuse service or attendance to any client whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or harmful to others or themselves.
3. SESSIONS, EVENTS, AND BOOKINGS
3.1 Details of all sessions (including class times, therapy appointments, and events) are available on the Website and may be updated from time to time.
3.2 All yoga classes, sound bath events, holistic therapy appointments, events, workshops, and retreats are subject to availability.
3.3 Clients are advised to arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time of a class or event.
3.4 RestoreU reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions and events due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient bookings.
4. PAYMENT TERMS
4.1 Prices for services are available on the Website and may be amended at any time.
4.2 All payments are strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable, including but not limited to yoga classes, holistic therapy appointments, sound bath sessions, workshops, courses, and retreats. This applies regardless of attendance or reason for cancellation, unless otherwise required by law.
4.3 Clients are advised to carefully check their booking details before confirming any purchase. If a client is unable to attend a booked session or event, no credit, refund, or transfer will be issued.
4.4 In exceptional circumstances (e.g. serious illness or emergency), a rescheduling request may be considered at the sole discretion of RestoreU, but this does not constitute a right to refund or transfer.
5. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Clients are responsible for their own personal belongings. RestoreU accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal items at venues used for sessions or events.
6. HEALTH & SAFETY
6.1 Clients are responsible for ensuring they are fit and well to participate in physical or holistic practices.
6.2 Clients are advised to seek medical advice before undertaking any new physical activity or therapy, especially if they have any underlying health conditions or are pregnant.
6.3 Contraindications for Sound Baths: Clients should contact Sonia in advance if they:
- Are pregnant
- Have a pacemaker or metal implant
- Suffer from epilepsy
- Are affected by sound-sensitive conditions
6.4 Mental Health and Meditation: Clients should consult their mental health provider before attending meditation classes if they are under care for:
- Clinical Depression
- Bipolar Disorder
- Schizophrenia
- Epilepsy
6.5 RestoreU reserves the right to refuse access or participation to any service if there are concerns for the client’s safety or wellbeing.
7. LIABILITY WAIVER & ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK
By booking and attending services, clients acknowledge and accept the following:
Assumption of Risk: Yoga, sound baths, and therapies involve physical and/or emotional activity that carries a risk of injury or discomfort. Clients participate at their own risk.
Medical Conditions: Clients confirm they are in suitable health to participate and will inform the practitioner of any relevant medical issues.
Release of Liability: Clients release RestoreU (Sonia), from all liability for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from participation, except where such exclusion is unlawful.
Client Responsibility: Clients agree to listen to their bodies, practice self-care, and follow any guidance or modifications provided.
8. GENERAL GUIDELINES
8.1 Clients must wear appropriate clothing for physical activity.
8.2 Shoes should be removed before entering practice areas.
8.3 Smoking is not permitted at any venue or event hosted by RestoreU.
8.4 Fire exits and safety instructions must be respected at all times during in-person events.
9. COMMUNICATION
9.1 Clients are responsible for providing up-to-date contact details and checking communications for schedule changes or important information.
9.2 By providing an email address, clients consent to receive relevant communication regarding bookings, changes, offers, and updates from RestoreU.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1 RestoreU is not liable for any unavailability of services due to external factors, such as venue closures or force majeure events.
10.2 Clients are solely responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally able to participate. RestoreU accepts no liability for injuries, loss, or damage unless such liability cannot legally be excluded.
